We are seeking an experienced
**Administrative Assistant** to join us at our new office headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
Provides administrative support to a designated Director / Manager / Supervisors. Performing a wide range of complex secretarial duties under the supervision of the Department Manager. Has the ability to prioritized and manage multiple task. Facilitates professional, timely and efficient operations of the Department. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills in relations with employee of the Humanitarian City and internal/external customer.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performs duties as directed in accordance with facility policy and procedures.
- Answers incoming phone calls and directs to the appropriate party.
- Responds to routine inquiries as received and properly refers more complex inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Retrieves documents following established departmental policies and procedures.
- Assists in a variety of clerical duties, such as typing, and data entry to support office operations.
- Protects confidentiality of the hospital and departmental data.
- Maintains a neat, clean and well organized office area at all times.
- Performs all other duties/tasks within the realm of his/her knowledge and ability as required.
- Responds to routine inquiries as received and properly responds to more complex inquiries/complaints within 24 hours of receipt.
- Establishes, organized, maintains and updates files, records and/or other documents; develops and maintain data, and performs routine analyses and calculations in the processing of data for recurring internal reports, such as payroll time sheets, sick leave and annual leave documents, purchasing and employment documents, and or/ materials and supplies inventory.
- Operates personal computer to compose and edit correspondence and / or memoranda from dictation, verbal direction, or from knowledge of established department/division policies; may prepare, transcribe, compose, type, edit, and distribute agendas and/or minutes of meetings.
- Demonstrates preservation of human dignity and confidentiality to patients and families.
- Verbalizes knowledge of the location of all manuals i.e. safety, infection control, MSDS etc.
- Knowledgeable of current trends and practices which promotes suggestion for changes of policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates understanding and support of, as well as a commitment, to the organization to uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance as set forth in the corporate compliance program and therefore carries out daily activities in an ethical and legal manner.
- Displays competence and responsibility in prevention of contamination and transfer of infection.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- **QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Must have 2-4 years administrative or secretarial experience.
- At least high school graduate or equivalent education / work experience.
- College degree preferred.
**- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS**
- Knowledge of word-processing and computer skills including various programs preferable WORD and EXCEL.
- Able to type 60wpm accurately.
- Ability to record and transcribe meeting minutes.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to work independently on a variety of projects.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform other clerical skills for the department.
- Able to provide confidentiality to members and staff.
- Professional phone manners.
