About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enabling Technologies Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and setting the strategic direction for Enabling Technologies in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive ET growth strategy and 5-year roadmap for Saudi Arabia.
  • Lead the strategic sales process for Enabling Technologies, setting key performance objectives in coordination with ET Marketing, Ortho Sales, and Saudi Country Manager.
  • Manage the Stryker ET Business development team, Mako Product Specialists, and Indirect Channels Mako Product Specialists Teams, ensuring they are engaged and driven to achieve aligned goals.
  • Oversee key interfaces and partner with Marketing, Sales, Technical Services, and Finance teams in the introduction of new products and technologies.
  • Ensure full strategic alignment with franchise leaders, particularly JR and Spine.
  • Provide leadership and focus to the ET business by developing an effective working relationship with Channel Partners, setting directions for the ET Team, and influencing their MPS and FSE organizations.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market research, customer/stakeholder interviews, surveys, clinical trends, literature reviews, and voice-of-customer feedback.
  • Ensure transparency of the pipeline, including investments and returns from sales.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasts for both short and long-term.
  • Be commercially aware and monitor the market, gathering competitive intelligence on new products, competitive strategies, industry tactics, and opportunities for business growth.
  • Partner with divisional Marketing and R&D teams to provide direction regarding regional requirements for updates, line extensions, and future products and technologies.
  • Address ET topics impacting the Saudi Market, such as local RA/product release and language requirements, labeling, IFU, translations, etc.
  • Collaborate with the ET Product Manager on the development of AMPs and commercialization plans in each geography.
  • Develop and implement successful product introductions across the region by closely partnering with Marketing in a matrix organization.
  • Liaise with ET commercial peers in EEMEA to share best practices and maximize synergies.
  • Influence the P&L for Enabling Technologies.
  • Monitor business performance against budget and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Support operational efficiency of the business by building relationships with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and other relevant enabling functions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement; Masters or further education is desirable.
  • Fluent in oral and written English is essential.
  • Minimum of 10 years in Marketing, Sales, Market Development, or a combination, including people management experience.
  • Proven experience in the sales of similar products/equipments (Robotics, Navigation, Imaging, CT Scan) within an international company.
  • Track record of continuously delivering on financial commitments over time.
  • Experience in developing and presenting business strategies.
  • Experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with multi-disciplinary stakeholders required.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to deliver on multiple priorities.
  • Strategic thinking: creating long-term plans, setting goals, and defining tactics that are aligned with the overall Business and Marketing objectives.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Analytical mind, solutions provider, balanced views, and judgment; eagerness to learn and assimilate complexity.
