Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to lead our food operations and drive excellence in culinary standards. As a key member of our Marriott International team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily kitchen operations, managing a team of culinary professionals, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food products and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Manage Culinary Team: Lead and develop a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure excellent performance.
  • Drive Culinary Excellence: Develop and implement culinary standards, menus, and recipes to drive excellence in food quality and presentation.
  • Manage Food Costs: Analyze and manage food costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency in food operations.
  • Ensure Safety and Sanitation: Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with Marriott International's safety and sanitation policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in culinary management or a related field.
  • Culinary Skills: Proven culinary skills, with expertise in menu development, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and developing a team of culinary professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
