Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Finance Leader to join our executive team as Vice President of Finance and Operations. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to assume overall responsibility for leading a team of experts across various finance functions, encompassing Financial and Management Accounting, Strategic Planning, and Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Leadership: Provide support to the COO and the leadership team in alignment with corporate vision and business strategy, offering crucial advice on external factors and their potential business impacts.
  2. Financial Reporting: Ensure the timely production of accurate financial and management reports in compliance with CMA, company, and regulatory standards.
  3. External Audits and Reviews: Oversee External Audits and Reviews to meet regulatory requirements and deadlines, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and best practices.
  4. Financial Planning and Analysis: Guide the business financially to achieve sustained long-term profitability.
  5. Risk Management: Manage risks and opportunities effectively within a controlled framework to attain planned profitability.
  6. Fundraising and IPO Readiness: Help and assist with fundraising and as well as IPO readiness.
  7. Company Image and Culture: Uphold the company's image and culture.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Internationally accredited accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or MBA graduate from a recognized and esteemed international university.
  2. Language Skills: Proficient in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
  3. Travel and Engagement: Willingness to travel, conduct road shows, and effectively engage with current and prospective shareholders.
  4. Commercial Acumen: Ability to meet with banks, negotiate relationships including facilities, pricing, and covenants optimally.
  5. Experience: Extensive experience in a Stock Market Listed Manufacturing business, ideally within the GCC region.
  6. Leadership Experience: Proven track record as a CFO or in a senior finance position overseeing multiple disciplinary functions.
  7. IPO Experience: Experience with taking a SAAS company IPO.
  8. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills to garner respect and trust from colleagues and stakeholders.
  9. Influence and Motivation: Ability to influence senior-level decision-makers and motivate team members to achieve outstanding results.
  10. Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen transcending mere financial reporting.
  11. Performance-Driven: Performance-driven with the ability to motivate team members to achieve outstanding results.
