Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician - IHG Hotels to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of the hotel's refrigeration equipment.

About the Position

The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and refrigeration, with experience in maintaining and repairing complex equipment. You will be responsible for conducting regular preventive and routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment electrical control systems and responding to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, including centrifugal chillers, air-cooled chillers, walk-in cold rooms, and freezer rooms.
  • Attend to repairs and maintenance of air conditioning equipment, such as window units, package units, and fan coil units.
  • Perform electric arc or oxy-acetylene welding as needed.
  • Conduct regular preventive and routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment electrical control systems.
  • Respond to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt.
  • Ensure the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair and maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guestroom or public areas.
  • Keep plant rooms, workshops, and related areas clean and tidy.
  • Observe prescribed safety standards and help maintain safe conditions for self and others.
