Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Officer to join our team at Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager in managing all HR functions to meet the strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Assist in the recruitment process and hiring of all front-line employees, ensuring that the best candidates are selected for the role.
  • Employee Engagement: Coordinate and encourage sports and social activities on a regular basis to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Financial Planning: Participate in the preparation of the Human Resources budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support business objectives.
  • Database Management: Maintain an up-to-date database of employee resumes for future recruitment needs.
  • Induction and Orientation: Conduct induction/orientation programs for all newly joined employees, ensuring that they are familiar with hotel standards and policies.
  • Employee Relations: Receive employee complaints, suggestions, and queries, and ensure that they are handled properly and in a timely manner.
  • HR Administration: Maintain an up-to-date computerized database of all employees, ensuring that employee records are accurate and compliant with company policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist the Director of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager in the preparation of periodic reports as required, providing insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with all departments regarding HR-related activities, ensuring that business objectives are met and employee needs are addressed.
  • Employee Welfare: Assist the LIFE Committee in planning, organizing, and implementing employee sports, social, and welfare activities, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: A university degree in a related discipline, preferably with experience in a similar role.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in a computerized payroll system and fluency in English.
  • Skills and Competencies: Result-oriented, self-motivated, and with a positive attitude, able to think laterally and possess strong social skills and presence, enabling effective interaction and dealing with employees at all levels.
