The Channel Manager will oversee reporting, organising and community aspects of social media channels, publishing and reporting for our media brand across a range of social platforms.
The Channel Manager should be deeply familiar with key social platforms, including Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, and YouTube, with local knowledge of optimising content performance for these platforms in KSA specifically as well as the GCC / globally.
JAX Media's primary directive is to create a leading platform for quality digital Arabic language content centred on modern culture anchored in Saudi Arabia.
While this role will focus on the delivery of the JAX Media proposition, it should also support and responsibly represent VICE's growing presence in KSA more broadly.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Organise publishing and scheduling of content for YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok- Community management and sentiment monitoring- Booking media campaigns and monitor performance- Record benchmarks for key media metrics- Booking media campaigns and monitoring performance for Meta Ads, Google, Twitter and TikTok- Consistently providing competitor analysis and share details and insights with the social publishing team to inform programming- Updating any relevant changes to the publishing platforms- Tracking brand's audience demographic and geo data- Gather and organise programming performance results and providing reports to the relevant stakeholders- Reviewing over/under performing content with team members- Examine performance analytics to enhance programming- Provide feedback to the production teams on the best strategies to improve publishing strategy and content- Producing case studies for projects the brand prioritisesQUALIFICATIONS- Confidence in building up decks and presenting (Google Slides)- Strong interpersonal skills and his able to provide strong communication with team members and senior management- Stand-out attention to detail and strong organisational skills- Experience in working in channel management and audience development- Experience publishing content on social platforms for Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok- Experience with collating data, creating and interpreting charts and graphs- Confident with using basic data analysis and data visualisation- Experience booking paid media campaigns- A passion for heritage and or pop-culture
