The Presales Engineer is responsible for interacting with potential customers to determine their needs and explain the value of DHS Arabia's products and services.

The presales engineer is also responsible for mapping customer requirements to DHS Arabia's offering, creating presentations, writing proposals, technical comparisons, and other activities that may help in closing the deal.

The presales engineer works closely with growth, business development and product development teams.

The presales engineer must have in-depth knowledge of DHS Arabia's product and services offerings in addition to a broad technical knowledge preferably related to healthcare IT industry.


The presales engineer must have strong communication skills and must be able to explain complex ideas in a way that customer can understand.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to growth and business development teams for successfully closing the deals. Support the sales process by providing technical information and answer technical queries by customers.
  • Demonstrate product and services features/capabilities to customers, conduct technical presentations, and live demonstrations.
  • Assist customers, partners during product evaluations, technical discussions.
  • Gather customer requirements and provide solutions by bundling DHS Arabia's products and services with 3rd party solutions (where required) to meet their needs.
  • Stay up to date on product, services knowledge and broad industry trends within healthcare IT domain.
  • Work closely with product development and customer support teams to provide feedback and improve product.
  • Contribute to roadmap development and keeping it relevant to industry trends.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in customer facing role such as technical support within healthcare IT domain.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Excellent verbal, written Arabic and English language skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Strong negotiation skill is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HL7 Standards is preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
