**About this role**
BlackRock launched its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in October 2019 with an ambitious plan to deliver the full breadth and depth of BlackRock to clients and stakeholders in the country. BlackRock’s strategic expansion in the Saudi market is aimed at bringing its global asset management and risk management capabilities and solutions to the domestic market as well as being an integral part of the capital market and asset management ecosystem.
Job Purpose/Background:
BlackRock is currently seeking a senior institutional relationship manager based in Riyadh, to take on responsibilities for the existing institutional clients in Saudi Arabia as well as develop and manage new institutional relationships in the Saudi market. The RM will be the central point of contact for institutional clients and will be responsible for delivering the broad BlackRock offering including index and active equities and fixed income, private capital, real estate and infrastructure alternative assets. In doing so, he or she will lead the client dialogue with respect to BlackRock’s investment offerings, product development and operations in Riyadh, helping to drive business and client strategy more broadly across the country.
- All aspects of client service and sales coverage, including maintaining and further developing relationships in Saudi Arabia;
- Support BlackRock Saudi Arabia senior management in refining and developing the vision for BlackRock's KSA business and ensuring an integrated client experience across products and solutions;
- Contributing to the firm's regional & global business strategy, with the overarching agenda of growing both the overall business as well as Saudi Arabia’s position within it; and
- Driving the ongoing development and refinement of BlackRock Saudi Arabia product offering, market activities, and sales and marketing strategy; this includes the continued development of a strong client portfolio and a diversified book of business across multiple sub-segments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A deep understanding of capital markets, gained in asset and/or wealth management, investment banking, the insurance sector, and/or related segments of the financial services industry;
- Ability and willingness to demonstrate strong sense of ownership towards delivering to clients; and
- Strong academic qualifications, with the appropriate CME accreditation and, ideally, post-graduate degree and/or CFA.
