About the Role

The Channel Sales Engineer is a key position within the MEA region, reporting directly to the Sales Director. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this role will collaborate with the DX portfolio team to secure orders and achieve business objectives in partnership with authorized channel partners in Saudi Arabia.

This position targets specifying HVAC DX products with consultants, specifiers, contractors, and end-users into their vendor lists and projects. Developing long-term relationships with consultants, developers, and end-users is crucial to promoting the sales of DX products.

The successful candidate will prepare and deliver high-quality product and technical presentations, live product demonstrations, and recommend viable solutions for project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the sales team, consultants, developers, and end-users on design and specifications using in-depth technical knowledge of HVAC DX products.
  • Liaise with R&D, Training, Product Management, and Technical Support resources to ensure proposals and feature requests address customer needs in line with JCH product strategies.
  • Attend sales exhibitions, trade shows, conduct technical training and seminars for consultants to enhance their knowledge of the product portfolio and generate new sales leads.
  • Prepare and present reports by analyzing market trends, competitive matrix, products gap vs market demands, and propose a growth action plan for each channel in the territory.
  • Maintain records of target opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company-approved databases to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the KSA Sales Team to ensure annual sales targets are met for the territory.
  • Build the pipeline using Salesforce or other CRM systems and enhance brand visibility, credibility, and profit, market share, and reputation.
