The Business Development Director will play a crucial role in driving our growth strategy and identifying new business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with ALMAD's overall strategic goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including leading the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and bids.
- Maintain a strong brand presence through websites, social media, and promotional materials.
- Utilize online platforms, SEO, and thought leadership articles to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, and industry partners to secure repeat business and build ALMAD's reputation.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and achieve team objectives.
- Prepare accurate forecasts of sales and revenue, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management on business development progress.
- Oversee the development and submission of high-quality proposals and bids, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal standards.
- Negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions with clients, ensuring ALMAD's interests are protected. Oversee contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Actively participate in industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and enhance ALMAD's visibility.
- Continuously seek ways to improve business development processes and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the company.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in business development within the Saudi Arabian construction and energy industry.
- Proven track record of success in identifying, pursuing, and securing significant construction projects.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian construction market, including regulatory frameworks and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
Compensation and Benefits
