We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Ultimate Peaks. As a key member of our front desk, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for patients and visitors.
Responsibilities- Patient Interaction:
The ideal candidate will greet patients and visitors in a professional manner, verify patient information, and complete check-in procedures efficiently. - Schedule Management:
We require someone who can schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage the appointment calendar, and notify patients of any changes to their scheduled appointments. - Patient Enquiries:
A strong communicator is essential for handling incoming calls, responding to patient inquiries, and providing information about services, policies, and procedures. - Record Maintenance:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records is critical. The candidate will process patient registration forms, update information as needed, and ensure confidentiality and security of patient information. - Payment Collection:
We need someone who can collect payments for services rendered, issue receipts, assist patients with billing inquiries and insurance claims, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. - Supportive Role:
This role involves assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, e-mails, and communications, and supporting the Admin Manager and other staff with special projects and tasks. - Adherence to Protocols:
The successful candidate must adhere to healthcare and organizational regulations, standards, and protocols, especially regarding patient confidentiality and data protection. - Learning Opportunities:
Ongoing training and professional development are crucial to stay updated on administrative best practices and clinic procedures.
- A relevant educational degree; additional qualifications in healthcare administration or customer service are beneficial.
- Minimal 1 to 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using office software and patient management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
