We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Category Growth Strategist to lead our Automotive category in KSA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, leadership development, and analytical horsepower.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with vendors, managing category profitability, and optimizing pricing. They will also work closely with multiple stakeholders to drive business growth and improve key metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Category leader to drive new strategic initiatives and business opportunities.
- Negotiate terms of trade and operating model contracts with vendors.
- Build and maintain a portfolio to drive continuous traffic and engagement to the storefront.
- Identify automation opportunities to offer scalable solutions and improve key metrics such as selection, profitability, pricing, and availability.
- Own the P&L for hitting top and bottom-line targets and drive projects to improve profitability with critical stakeholders.
- SOURCE deals during Tier 1 & Tier 2 events to ensure value is offered to Prime Customers.
- Ensure content quality is best in class to improve conversion.
- Negotiate marketing funds from vendors for category visibility.
- Prepare, pitch, and close Annual JBP with vendors.
- MBR / QBR with vendors on performance and improvement.
