About the Role

The Ghobash Group is seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role will be responsible for developing and expanding sales of food ingredients across GCC countries.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy for food ingredients in the GCC market, focusing on various applications and industries.
  2. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers, including manufacturers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  3. Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  4. Travel at least two weeks per month to meet clients, explore business opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.
  5. Source food ingredients by identifying reliable suppliers and evaluating product quality, pricing, and supply capabilities.
  6. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers and customers to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  7. Manage stock levels and ensure efficient procurement and inventory management to meet customer demands.
  8. Develop sales forecasts and business growth plans to align with company objectives.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  10. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting key performance metrics and market insights.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 4 years of experience in sales within the food ingredients industry. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA preferred.

Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate should possess strong techno-commercial skills, in-depth product knowledge of food ingredients and their applications, ability to identify and cultivate relationships with customers and suppliers, negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and pricing, interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders, proficiency in inventory and procurement management to ensure product availability.
