Key Responsibilities:

As a skilled Front Desk Agent at RAFFLES, you will be responsible for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering personalized greetings and welcoming guests to the hotel.
  • Handling guest inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Processing check-outs accurately, verifying accuracy, and handling payment processing with precision.
  • Upselling and promoting hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of hotel facilities, local attractions, and services, allowing you to offer expert advice and recommendations.
  • Collaborating effectively with other departments to guarantee seamless service delivery and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Overseeing reservations, room assignments, and special requests, exercising discretion and tact when needed.
  • Ensuring the front desk area remains organized and well-stocked, adhering to established procedures.
  • Providing administrative support, generating reports, and managing inventory, contributing to the smooth functioning of the department.
  • Adhering to RAFFLES' policies and procedures, prioritizing guest satisfaction and maintaining a customer-centric mindset.
  • Participating in ongoing training to refine your guest service skills and product knowledge, staying updated on industry developments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a guest services role, preferably within a hotel setting.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and potential familiarity with Opera hotel management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Knowledge of Jeddah and surrounding areas, enabling you to offer informed local recommendations.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations, prioritizing guest satisfaction.
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently, ensuring seamless operations.
