Head of Sales and Distribution

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Commercial / B2B Sales Programs with an understanding of sales behaviors and processes. They will be responsible for developing effective go-to-market sales strategies, building lasting relationships with partners, and driving significant revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand our geographical footprint into new markets.
- Lead a robust sales organization by setting up direct sales and distribution teams, and continuously optimize their performance.
- Create bundling strategies to increase sales, drive customer experience, and optimize price.
- Analyze performance data to understand key drivers and gaps, and provide input into future offer planning, marketing/training materials & delivery/ops planning.
- Work closely with business planning & finance teams to optimize partners' commission structure and sales targets.
- Coordinate measures to ensure compliance on the ground with Legal, Anti-piracy, and Government relations teams.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Commercial / B2B Sales Programs with an understanding of sales behaviors and processes.
- Cross-functional exposure to Pay-TV, telecoms, and consumer electronics is preferred.
- Strong sales management experience managing, mentoring, and motivating a remote sales team to drive revenues.
- Track record of consistently exceeding sales goals, individually and as a manager of a team.
- Strong sales prospecting, negotiating, and closing skill set.
- Excellent communication skills, influencing and relationship building skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders (both within government and enterprise level) and peers to get things done.
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
- GCC experience is a must.
- Post Graduate degree in business management is an advantage.
