Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Sales Executive to join our team. This role is integral to driving hotel revenue by identifying business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and supporting the Sales Manager in achieving sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strategic sales approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. The Sales Executive will actively participate in sales activities, industry events, and marketing initiatives to optimize accommodation bookings and other revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Promote and sell the hotel's services while cross-selling other InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) properties.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing corporate clients through proactive engagement and account management.
- Identify potential business leads, convert opportunities into confirmed sales, and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Conduct client meetings, sales calls, and on-site hotel inspections to showcase property offerings.
- Analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and drive business development.
- Assist in executing direct marketing campaigns and distributing promotional materials.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agencies, airlines, government entities, and event planners, to maximize business potential.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue performance, and client feedback, providing regular reports to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- Preferred: Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of one year in a sales-related role, preferably within the hospitality industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
