**Essential Role Functions**
- Develop target list and initiate contact with potential clients through sales phone calls, appropriate social media, promotional flier distribution and cold calling.
- Confirm appointments to introduce the company and the company’s services to potential clients and build and maintain ongoing relationships.
- Supports existing clients, acting as intermediary for communication between client and their operations teams and Crane Worldwide network, available for escalation when necessary.
- Provides tracking information as requested by the client.
- Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to insure prompt resolution.
- Manage all client requests and follow up to ensure that the client needs are met.
- Facilitate the completion of RFQ’s.
- Provide marketing and proposal support for all Global Sales Team members.
- Analyzes client profit or loss and provides proposals for yield improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Physical Requirements**
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Experience Requirements
- 1 to 2 years' experience with 3PL or freight forwarder including internal and external facing roles, or
- 1 to 2 years previous experience in transportation or business development fields

**Other Skills & Abilities**
- Strong client-facing skills and effective selling to decision influencers and decision
- makers with a consultative approach

**Education Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Strong computer usage skills demonstrated capability with suite of Microsoft office.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness.
- Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques.
