Sales Business Development Professional

The Sales Business Development Professional will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
They will visit potential customers to prospect for new business, acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.
Negotiations will involve closing sales and gathering market and customer information.
The ideal candidate will review their own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
Key responsibilities include gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements, answering questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
A strong sales professional will recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests, contacting regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain features, and solicit orders.
The role also involves estimating or quoting prices, credit or contract terms, and delivery dates, providing customers with product samples and catalogs.
Proactive identification of prospective customers through business directories and following leads from existing clients is essential, as well as monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities within assigned territories is crucial, adhering to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
This individual must demonstrate high integrity and ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
The successful candidate will maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values, proactively establishing and maintaining effective working team relationships with support departments.
To excel in this role, one should possess a degree in Business, Marketing, and/or Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar field and hold a valid driving license.
