**Job Summary**:
The Employee Relations Officer is responsible for maintaining positive employee relations, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
This role involves handling employee grievances, conducting investigations, supporting conflict resolution, and promoting a harmonious workplace environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and issues.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on workplace matters, company policies, and procedures.
- Assist in resolving conflicts and disputes between employees or between employees and management.
- Receive, document, and investigate employee grievances and complaints.
- Ensure timely and fair resolution of employee issues in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality throughout the grievance process.
- Assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Support management in addressing performance issues and misconduct.
- Prepare documentation for disciplinary actions, terminations, and other employee-related decisions.
- Ensure all actions are following labor laws and company policies.
- Promote a positive work environment by organizing employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and morale.
- Recommend and implement strategies to improve employee retention and satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ensure all employee relations activities comply with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Assist in preparing for audits and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee relations cases, investigations, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports on employee relations activities, trends, and issues.
- Analyze data to identify patterns and recommend improvements.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of KSA labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Oracle HCM modules is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience in a similar role within a large or multinational organization.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage.
- Multilingual proficiency: in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic is a plus.
