Territory Sales Development Opportunity

About the Role:

United Phosphorus Limited (UPL) is a leading global provider of sustainable agriculture products and solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our sales team as a Territory Sales Development Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Territory Sales Managers with presentations at key grower/customer meetings to promote sales of UPL's products.
  2. Represent UPL at trade shows, meetings, and conventions within the assigned territory to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Shadow Territory Sales Managers and/or Technical Service Managers during promotional/sales calls to retailers, distributors, and key growers to gain industry knowledge and sales skills.
  4. Assist with demo/trial work within the territory to demonstrate UPL's products and services.
  5. Receive hands-on agronomic training from Territory Sales Managers and/or Technical Service Managers to enhance knowledge of crop management and product applications.
  6. Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Requirements:

  1. Currently pursuing a bachelor's or higher degree in Agronomy, Crop Sciences, Soil Science, or a related field.
  2. Valid driver's license required.
  3. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
  5. Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Travel and Location: The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively within the assigned territory, utilizing a company vehicle and fuel card. The position will be 100% remote, allowing the candidate to work from anywhere within the Eastern or Southeastern United States.
