About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy by sourcing, securing, and expanding new business opportunities within the MENA region.

You will be responsible for identifying prospects, developing strategic relationships, and closing deals that align with our company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. New Business Sourcing: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the MENA region.
  2. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  3. Proposal Development: Prepare, compile, and draft high-quality technical and commercial proposals, including pricing strategies tailored to client needs.
  4. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  5. Customer Management: Maintain and manage customer information using CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business development strategies and proposal development.
  7. Negotiation: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring favorable contract terms for our company.
  8. Representation: Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the MENA region.
  9. Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and strategic insights to the Vice President, MENA Region.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 10 years of experience in a related field.
  2. Track Record: Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the minerals processing or mining services sector.
  3. Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop competitive pricing models and strategic proposals.
  4. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders from diverse cultural and business backgrounds.
  5. Motivation: Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to sourcing and securing new business.
  6. Travel: Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the MENA region.
  7. Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or French is an added advantage.
  8. Results Orientation: Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
  9. Cultural Awareness: Culturally aware and adaptable, capable of navigating complex business environments.
  10. Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  11. Resilience: Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
