Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving our growth strategy by sourcing, securing, and expanding new business opportunities within the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve growth targets in the MENA region.
  2. Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire new clients through strategic partnerships and relationship-building.
  3. Proposal Development: Prepare, compile, and draft high-quality technical and commercial proposals, including pricing strategies tailored to client needs.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  5. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and manage customer information using CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
  6. Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business development strategies and proposal development.
  7. Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring favorable contract terms for our company.
  8. Representation and Reporting: Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the MENA region, and provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and strategic insights to the Vice President, MENA Region.
Requirements
  1. Experience and Background: 10 years of experience in a related field.
  2. Track Record of Success: Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the minerals processing or mining services sector.
  3. Commercial Knowledge: Strong commercial knowledge with the ability to develop competitive pricing models and strategic proposals.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders from diverse cultural and business backgrounds.
  5. Motivation and Self-Drive: Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to sourcing and securing new business.
  6. Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the MENA region.
  7. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or French is an added advantage.
  8. Results Orientation: Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
  9. Cultural Awareness: Culturally aware and adaptable, capable of navigating complex business environments.
  10. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  11. Resilience and Adaptability: Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
