About the Role

As a Business Development Manager at BuildMate, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.

You will establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the construction, building materials, and heavy equipment sectors.

Your primary objective will be to develop and implement strategies to enhance BuildMate's market presence and achieve business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on Contractors, Building Materials Suppliers, and Heavy Equipment Materials Suppliers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to promote BuildMate's platform solutions to targeted markets.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to present BuildMate's offerings, address inquiries, and secure partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients' needs are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain a detailed database of prospects and leads, ensuring regular follow-ups and progress tracking through the CRM system.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly business development reports to the Country Manager/CEO.
Sales and Targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and transitioning accounts to the operations team.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring activity is documented and up-to-date in the CRM.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs as set by the Country Manager.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and ensure timely invoicing for new clients.
