Regional Key Account Manager Role
The role is a combined sales & marketing role which is getting support from all support functions like (Corporate team, Operational team, Customer service team, Logistics team, Warehouse team, Finance team, Admins). The Regional Key Account Manager is reporting to the Business Unit Manager of Vision Care & who will be based in KSA covering the GCC region with 60% of his time in the field travelling across GCC countries.
Job Summary
The Regional Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key optical accounts across the GCC region. The role focuses on driving sales and enhancing partnerships to achieve business objectives in a competitive market. The RKAM will actively engage with major Key customers, align strategies with the Business Unit Manager, and work closely with internal local teams to drive sustainable growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management:
- Develop and execute account plans to maximize sales growth with key optical retail customers across the GCC.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understand their needs and align them with long-term business objectives.
- Negotiate and close strategic deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Sales & Growth Revenue:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by implementing strategic initiatives tailored to each key account.
- Track and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to drive revenue.
- Customer Insights & Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs.
- Leverage insights to refine and adjust account strategies in collaboration with the BUM and other internal stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Marketing, Product specialists, customer service & local teams to ensure product availability and promotional effectiveness.
- Work with Sales Operational teams to streamline processes and ensure smooth execution of marketing activities across the region.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Regularly update the Business Unit Manager / Corporate team on accounts' performance, market trends, and potential growth areas.
- Prepare and present account plans, forecasts, and progress reports.
- Customer Engagement & On-Site Visits:
- Conduct regular on-site visits with key customers to reinforce relationships and identify business growth opportunities.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts across the region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Nationality Preference: Male or Female, Saudi Nationality preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in Key Account Management, ideally within the optical, healthcare, or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of the GCC optical retail market is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and travel most of the time within GCC.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
