About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading (Amazon) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join its Third-Party Marketplace team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to new business acquisition through lead generation, business evaluation, and supporting the launch of new sellers on our platform.

Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with partners, identifying win-win opportunities, and helping them grow their business on Amazon. You will also be responsible for incorporating feedback from sellers into new opportunities to improve our products, services, processes, systems, and tools for all third-party sellers, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a Portfolio of Selling Partners: Effectively prioritize and lead a portfolio of selling partners to realize the product family's opportunities and goals.
  2. Consult with Sellers: Act as a consultant for your seller partners, providing data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success.
  3. Identify Business Opportunities: Identify key business opportunities by spotting popular brands, trends, and pricing to manage the portfolio toward a growth plan.
  4. Analyze Business Performance: Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting selling partners' business performance and provide the Voice of the Seller as input into product development and process improvement.
  5. Deliver Excellent Customer Experience: Work closely with selling partners, educating them about Amazon's high standards of Delivery and Customer Experience.
  6. Track and Report Results: Track and report business development results, analyze data, interpret reports, and publish recommendations and action plans for your portfolio of selling partners.
  7. Partner with Stakeholders: Partner with multiple stakeholders to align programs and initiatives to help drive the growth of your selling partners portfolio.
Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Onboard Selling Partners: Identify and onboard potential selling partners into paid services that can contribute to availability and price competitiveness across Consumables categories.
  2. Manage Top Sellers: Manage the top sellers in Consumables categories to ensure they grow across all metrics and contribute to the topline of the categories.
  3. Develop Knowledge of Amazon Tools: Develop in-depth knowledge of Amazon tools and services to ensure efficient adoption across sellers.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication (English)
Preferred Qualifications
  • E-Commerce or Retail experience
  • Knowledge of Advanced Excel, SQL is a plus
